4 Quick Apply Full-time 17 hours ago Full Job Description We are seeking a qualified, compassionate, caring, non-judgmental Co-Occurring Disorder Counselor with a positive attitude and a desire to make a difference to join our Lynnwood Outpatient team.
Co-Occurring Disorder Counselors provide comprehensive integrated substance use disorder and mental health treatment services for persons with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders.
This position will complete behavioral health assessments, conduct educational classes and treatment groups, and provide individual, family and group counseling to adults and families experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorder problems.
Counselor must have the ability to integrate mental health therapy into a primary substance use disorder treatment plan for persons with co-occurring mild and moderate mental disorders.
Must maintain professional boundaries and set a positive model of behavior for patients.
Minimum Requirements Master's degree in counseling psychology, social work, addiction counseling or comparable discipline Current certification as a Washington State Substance Use Disorder Professional or Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee Current Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate Minimum one year co-occurring counseling experience Vaccinated against COVID-19 We offer a generous wage and excellent employer-paid benefits which include health, dental, vision, prescription, short/long-term disability, life insurance, EAP, and a 403(b) retirement plan.
