Vibe Coffee Group (Victrola Coffee Roasters, Whidbey Coffee) is hiring a Production Team Member to join our team! We are looking for a hard-working, driven individual who is eager to learn and become an integral part of our production team, and to grow their skill set in the specialty coffee industry within a production environment.
As we continue to grow, we find ourselves in need of someone who works well with others, can identify needs along a production line and fill those needs, works well in a flexible role, and maintains the mentality that no job is too small or too big for them.
In this setting, equanimity, a positive attitude and attention to detail are vital to the success of both you and the team.
You will be called upon to provide support in all areas of production, which may include packaging, grinding, and sealing coffee, packing orders into boxes It may even look like performing one station's role the entire day if needed.
Responsibilities:
Weighing green coffee batches Roasting equipment maintenance and upkeep Maintaining a clean and safe work environment Packaging roasted coffee Grinding roasted coffee Packing product into boxes per orders Warehouse upkeep and maintenance Roasting coffee to specification
Qualifications:
Strong desire to operate as part of a team that works hard to get coffee to our customers in a quality-focused and timely manner.
Able to lift or team lift 100-lbs up to waist height / comfortable maneuvering green coffee bags that weigh up to 150-lbs.
Manufacturing and/or production experience welcomed.
Love of coffee and interest in developing knowledge of the coffee industry.
