This position will be located in Lynnwood, WA Training Period:
Monday to Friday 10 am to 5:
00pm Regular Shift:
Monday to Friday 12 pm to 5:
30pm (25 hours/week)
Responsibilities:
Mail:
Processes all incoming and outgoing mail, distributes to appropriate departments.
Attorney Requests:
Processes all Attorney requests accurately and timely, making sure we have all necessary documentation before release.
Medical Information:
Distributes patient medical information to patients and outside medical facilities, once provided appropriate documentation following the HIPPA laws.
Properly documents destination of each request.
Merge Patient accounts Problem Solving:
Resolves all problems/issues with reports and distribution in a timely manner.
Outside Reads:
Processes all Outside reads and outside read consults.
Communication:
Answer phones in a helpful and courteous manner.
Communicate both internally and externally in a professional manner regarding confidential/sensitive matters.
Support Patient Portal Inquiries, Chart Verification Health information:
Scan, digitize, and merge all films for physician reading.
Ensure all patient information is correctly entered into system.
Purge old films in compliance with the federal law.
Follows all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
Facilitate conference preparation, load images to dashboard and / or laptop.
Prior
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be familiar with medical terminology in a radiology context.
2 years in customer service oriented in a healthcare environment preferred.
Must be proficient with MS Office Suite Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work responsibly and to maintain the highest of confidentiality.
