On-Call PURPOSE The Administrative Assistant receives guests at the Tlingit and Haida Lynnwood office located at 20700 44th Avenue W.
, Lynnwood, Washington when there is an event scheduled on an evening or over the weekend.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Welcome visitors, guests, and clients; give proper direction; use tact and discretion in the degree and type of information given Receives and redirects all incoming calls, takes and relays messages, as necessary Maintain the reception area in an orderly and professional manner Other duties as assigned DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY Spending Authority:

N/A NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Ability to triage and route telephone calls and visitors to proper Tlingit & Haida program staff Positive professional courteous attitude toward public and staff Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of standard office procedures and standards MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience, skills) High school diploma or equivalent UNUSUAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OR RESTRICTIONS The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting and is generally sedentary, requiring routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying of items weighing less than 40 lbs.
