Pest Control Technician

Motivated technicians can start at $15.00 per hour (DOE) and can make as much as 50k in as little as three to four years. Experience preferred but not required, we provide the best training in the industry.

You must be able to:
Read and follow directions, treat customers with care and concern, show up on time. Communicate positively with our customers and establish lasting professional relationships. Drive safely. Solve and prevent problems. Feel comfortable crawling in sub areas and moving safely in attics. Carry and climb ladders. Actively work to increase the size of your service route, and your knowledge of our industry.
Job includes inspecting all areas of homes and businesses for the presence of pests, the application of ultra low and non-toxic control materials, trapping and controlling rodents, and making light modifications to structures to keep birds and rodents out, such as installing wire mesh. It involves a great deal of customer service and problem solving skills. You must be self motivated, a hard worker, and have a strong sense of ethics.
Safeguard is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. All technicians, must pass state license exams (training is included), must have good driving records, and pass a comprehensive background check. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
